Wexley School for Girls (Seattle)

(Google search for Wexley)

From their website:

What does Wexley do?
"In the true sense of the word "advertising." we can act like an advertising agency. That said we believe everything is advertising: Traditional media, design, packaging, PR-generating ideas, video games, branded entertainment, short films, guerilla tactics and events, done properly, can be advertising. Fact is, a lot of our clients already have traditional advertising agencies.

Wexley started on the premise that we are defined by client needs rather than our own set of parameters. Wexley is something different for ESPN than for Microsoft, Nike than for Washington Mutual."

My Take

Don't let "wackiness" fool you. These are solid marketing guys who know how to put compelling messages in front of a targeted audience.

This site is true to who they are. It uses the tools and thinking of an organization that believes "everything is advertising" to present what they are all about.

My one quibble is that it is heavy on the portfolio (cool thought the work is) and light on the brains behind the work. (I happen to know they have some solid case studies they could present if they wanted to.)

The Blog:
Great start. But then nothing.

And then this:
When you set up a joke it's nice to have the punch line.
